How to Get Started with Salesforce:

Setting Up Your Salesforce Account:

We will be using Salesforce Sales GPT as our example.

Step 1: Go to the Salesforce Website

Go to the official Salesforce website at www.salesforce.com

Step 2: Click on “Products”

On the Salesforce homepage, locate the “Product” button and click on it to start the account creation process.


Step 3: Click “See all product pricing”

When you click “Product” you will see a drop down menu

At the bottom of the drop down you will click the “see all product pricing”

Step 4: Select the product you want to try.

For this walkthrough I selected Small Business

Step 5: Select the editions

On the “Small Business Solutions Pricing” page, you will be presented with different Salesforce editions. Select the edition that best suits your needs, such as Salesforce Essentials, Salesforce Professional, or Salesforce Enterprise.Each version has its own individual capabilities. Step 6: Fill in Your Information

Fill in the required information in the provided fields, including your first name, last name, email address, job title, company name, and phone number. Create a unique username and password for your Salesforce account.

Step 7: Verify Your Email Address

After submitting the account creation form, Salesforce will send a verification email to the email address you provided. Go to your email inbox and click on the verification link to confirm your email address.

Step 8: Set Up Your Salesforce Password

Once you have verified your email address, you will be prompted to set up your Salesforce password. Choose a strong and secure password that meets the specified requirements. Confirm your password to proceed.

Step 9: Complete the Security Verification

To ensure the security of your Salesforce account, you will need to complete a security verification process. This may involve answering security questions, receiving a verification code via text message or email, or using a mobile authenticator app.
